‘Root Note’ - New album to be released in Fall 2024

Unit-E’s sophomore album, ‘Root Note’, features the compositions of Erik Ritfeld and is produced by Ritfeld and drummer Gregory Eric Smith. Featuring the superb instrumental talents of bassist Zack Lober and saxophonist Jacques Schwarz-Bart (D’Angelo, Roy Hargrove). the band delves deeper into their musical exploration, striving to bring people together without prejudice through their music.

Unit-E's sound is characterized by instrumental improvisation woven into Erik’s music, creating a tapestry of melodies and rhythms that resonate with authenticity. Dubbed "rootical" for its raw, live energy and the use of real instruments played by seasoned musicians, their music transcends boundaries, inviting listeners to journey with them. written by : Mike Finnegan
